Welcome to the Anchor Bay Resort. Here you can find out everything you need to know before you call to make a reservation with us. We are located on beautiful Lake Shafer, and within walking distance to Indiana Beach! We have eight wonderful cottages and the large main house to choose between (subject to availability).
The Anchor Bay Resort offers a quiet, secluded, rustic, lakeside setting with a quick and easy access to the suspension bridge leading to the Indiana Beach Amusement Park. Also, in a three mile area are golf courses, miniature golf, several restaurants, churches, two marinas, tennis, bowling, theaters, and a shopping center.
We are especially proud of our beautiful HEATED SWIMMING POOL,which is open from 9:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. daily. It is a huge "L" shaped design which boasts a large diving area yet has plenty of room for swimming and playing and a special shallow section for the little ones. (Open Memorial Day to Labor Day)
We have basketball, corn toss, horseshoes, tether ball, piers for boating or fishing, swings, a sandbox for the kids, a campfire area with FREE FIREWOOD for guests and plenty of room so you don't feel crowded. We also offer a rowboat, paddle boat, and pontoon boat for rental only to our customers.
Our cottages are exceptionally clean and constantly updated for our customers!
We offer studio, one and two bedroom separate units. All rentals include a private bath with shower; kitchen with refrigerators, griddles, microwaves, outdoor grills, picnic tables, dishes, pots and pans and silverware; air conditioners, living rooms with sofa and chairs, carpeting, color cable television and all units have screened porches and/or a deck with lawn furniture.
Sorry...we do not allow pets at Anchor Bay Resort.
Included in your reservation are weekly bed sheets, pillows and pillowcases, sufficient blankets, a kitchen towel and dish clothe. Dish soap, bath soap, toilet paper, coffee and condiments also complimentary upon request.
We do not provide towels.
Please be sure to bring your own towel and don't forget your swimsuit for the pool - (cut offs are not allowed).
